Biochar is a dark carbon made from biomass. On a farm or a restored site, it is mixed into the ground. That is the simple version.
What it can do
Good biochar has a lot of surface area. Water can sit in it. Nutrients move less quickly. Roots can find a better place to start on poor ground.
It is a soil helper. It is not a bag of fertilizer. You still need a plan for the crop or the plants you want to grow.
Where it is used
Farm soil. Mine soil. Oil-stained ground. Filter beds. The dose and the mix change with the site. That is why we ask what is in the soil before we say yes.
What we will not say
We will not say it cleans a site overnight. We will not say every soil needs it. If you want the product page, start with biochar.
